or site seeing around Vermont, relax by our bed and breakfast's
crackling fire and enjoy an afternoon treat and warm drink.
Adjacent to the first tee of a Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Sugarbush, we offer Vermont Golf Packages to the course, and Vermont
Ski Packages to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts.
Five minutes from breakfast table to Sugarbush lifts, another
7 minutes puts you at Mad River Glen with the last original
single chair lift in the contiguous United States. Snowshoe
and Nordic ski out our back door.
We are conveniently located with easy access
to all Central Vermont attractions. Our villages boast local
Vermont artisan shops, first-class restaurants, pampering

Or, just simply relax on the deck, unwind and read a good
book from our library.
Whether you’re visiting the
Bed & Breakfast to get away from it all, or you’ve
rented the entire inn for a Vermont family or business retreat,
we’ll do all we can to ensure that your stay is ideal.
We can make reservations for you at an elegant Warren dining
spot, let you in on the best local swim hole or arrange for

and Breakfast News - August 12, 2014
Well it is definitely still summer here in the Mad River Valley. We've been getting in lots of playtime down at the swimming hole, the flowers are going wild in the garden and, most excitingly, we've had regular visits from a new bear friend!
Golfers have been busy next door on the course, and Bob has had the kayaks and the dogs out on Blueberry Lake. And speaking of blueberries... Kim's "Jersey blueberry" scones have been the talk of the breakfast table all season... :)
As it is August, that of course also means that the Valley's annual Vermont Festival of the Arts is in full-swing... you should definitely come to town to check out the whole host of events happening.
Do you have plans for Labor Day weekend? Are you coming to the Valley for the Green Mountain Stage Race? We are opening the inn for a full-house rental for the weekend, so you should think about a retreat at Beaver Pond before autumn settles in and the kids are back to school. And speaking of, it's never to early to be thinking fall... Looks like it's going to be another spectacular year for foliage, though we have to admit, we're not quite ready for our beautiful New England summer to be over!
Come to the valley for all kinds of fun activities, including regular Vermont Craft Beer Tours, live music nights every Wednesday at The Big Picture, farm dinners at American Flatbread, and hikes on the Long Trail! Check out the Mad River Valley Events Listings for even more to do. Can't wait to see you!
