Ski Packages to the closest ski resorts. The ski lifts
at Sugarbush's Lincoln Peak are a mere 5 minutes from our
breakfast table, 15 minutes to Mad River Glen. Step out the
back door and snowshoe the Catamount trail behind the Inn.
In the summer, hiking, biking and kayaking opportunities abound.
Our villages boast local Vermont artisan shops, first-class
restaurants, pampering day spas, excellent hiking, cross country
and snowshoe trails, world-class golf courses and scenic biking
routes. Our Bed and Breakfast is the ideal starting place
for many scenic Vermont and Green Mountain day tours.

Here in our corner of Vermont, only
a few leaves are still hanging on while the snow guns begin
to blow on our ski slopes. That's right, we've barely bid
autumn good bye, before we're jonesing for our Vermont ski
resorts to open. This time of year, "stick season"
in the local vernacular, is a quiet time here in Vermont.
Cold nights and crisp days make for an excellent pre-holiday,
unwinding getaway. Enjoy brisk hikes with leaves crunching
under foot, do some Christmas shopping or bring up some holiday
cards and enjoy addressing them in our Vermont bed and breakfast.
- If you haven't already heard, Mad River
Glen has just completed putting in a new single chair ski
lift. The only singe chair lift in the continental United
States, not to mention Vermont. Come up and experience the
ride for yourself.
