Welcome
to our Vermont Bed and Breakfast
So you want to know just how close we are to the ski trails? Well, how good is your golf game? Located on the 1st and 18th tees of the Sugarbush course, if you're really a pro (and those trees bend out of your way), you'd be able hit the resort!
Nestled in Vermont's Green Mountains and
five minutes from the lifts of Sugarbush ski resort, you will
find a distinctive and intimate Bed and Breakfast. Let the
glorious Green Mountain views, rolling landscape and historic
charm of our 1840’s farmhouse inn rejuvenate your spirit.
Skillfully prepared breakfasts and treats, the caress of fine
linens and views of Vermont's snowy hills are sure to leave
you feeling pampered.
A quintessentially restored Vermont farmhouse,
our Bed and Breakfast exudes the warmth and charm you’ve
been longing for. Boasting historic exposed beams and beautiful
period antiques, our dining room is the perfect location to
savor the morning’s gourmet breakfast.
After a long day of skiing, riding, snowshoeing, shopping
or site seeing around Vermont, relax by our bed and breakfast's
crackling fire and enjoy an afternoon treat and warm drink.
Adjacent to the first tee of a Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Sugarbush, we offer Vermont Golf Packages to the course, and Vermont
Ski Packages to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts.
Five minutes from breakfast table to Sugarbush lifts, another
7 minutes puts you at Mad River Glen with the last original
single chair lift in the contiguous United States. Snowshoe
and Nordic ski out our back door.
We are conveniently located with easy access
to all Central Vermont attractions. Our villages boast local
Vermont artisan shops, first-class restaurants, pampering
day spas, excellent hiking, cross country and snowshoe trails,
world-class golf courses and scenic biking routes. Beaver
Pond Farm Bed and Breakfast is the ideal starting place for
many scenic Vermont and Green Mountain day tours.
Relax in our fresh air hot tub, breath in
the fresh Vermont air and admire our glorious views of the
Green Mountains and the Mad River Valley. Our inn has five
rolling acres for you to stroll or snowshoe at your leisure.
Or, just simply relax on the deck, unwind and read a good
book from our library.
Whether you’re visiting the
Bed & Breakfast to get away from it all, or you’ve
rented the entire inn for a Vermont family or business retreat,
we’ll do all we can to ensure that your stay is ideal.
We can make reservations for you at an elegant Warren dining
spot, let you in on the best local swim hole or arrange for
local treatments, outings or lessons.
SPECIAL ALERT!!! St. Patty's Day Weekend Getaway! Join us on the mountain for a day of skiing and then meet back at the inn for traditional Irish fare and festivities!
Bed
and Breakfast News - March 6, 2013
2013 marks our 5th Anniversary season owning and operating Beaver Pond! The time has flown and we've been so fortunate to meet such wonderful people on their travels. We'll be posting specials throughout the year to celebrate, so look for them here on the website or on our Facebook page!
In the mean time, don't let spring fever get the best of you - get the best of it! Our snowblower is still warm and the shoveling hasn't stopped yet, so that means the trails are still hot! We're toughing it out for the rest of March and are looking forward to the Annual Costumed Pond Skimming at Sugarbush on the last weekend in the month. You should also come check out two of our new favorite spots in town, Waitsfield's Peasant Restaurant and the Sweet Spot (who will be celebrating their one year anniversary in June). And, when you visit, if you haven't caught her furry face already, you can meet Hannah (or Hannah Banana as we like to call her), and help her celebrate her first birthday!
Come to the valley for all kinds of other fun activities, too, including regular Vermont Craft Beer Tours, live music nights every Wednesday at The Big Picture, farm dinners at American Flatbread, and hikes on the Long Trail! Check out the Mad River Valley Events Listings for even more to do. Can't wait to see you!
- PS: You get lots of vertical and great amenities
at Sugarbush
Ski Resort. If you haven't been up in a few years, you'll
love the beautiful Claybrook facilities
and Gatehouse Lodge. Don't miss lunch or an apres ski drink
at Timbers. While there's no skiing if there's no snow, there is plenty more to do; activities abound at and around the lodge - be sure to check them out.
- PSS: Hey lovebirds! If you are looking for a venue for an intimate outdoor wedding in the coming Spring, Summer, or Fall, Beaver Pond is the place! Contact us for details about planning your beautiful Vermont wedding at our inn and visit us online at Vermont Weddings for more information.
